Westbury Constructions was engaged to deliver a new Covered Outdoor Learning Area (COLA) at Belmont High School, providing an all-weather space to support learning, recreation, and school events.
The project involved the construction of a large steel-framed structure with integrated lighting, drainage, and concrete surfacing, designed to complement the existing campus layout and withstand heavy community use.
Works were carefully staged to minimise disruption to school operations, with close coordination between site teams and school representatives ensuring safety and efficiency throughout delivery.
The completed COLA provides a functional and versatile space that enhances the school’s outdoor learning capacity and offers students and staff a durable, low-maintenance environment for a wide range of activities.
