This project, delivered for Hawkesbury City Council, involved the construction of a new amenities building at The Breakaway Oval in Freemans Reach. The works replaced the outdated facility with a more durable, accessible and compliant structure designed for high-use community environments.
The scope included demolition of the existing building, new concrete foundations, structural masonry and framing, upgraded plumbing and hydraulic services, electrical installations, internal fixtures and finishes, and external treatment works to integrate the building with the surrounding reserve.
The project also incorporated improved lighting and ventilation to enhance functionality and user safety. The completed facility provides a reliable, long-life asset for Council and delivers a significant improvement to the overall usability and presentation of the oval for sporting groups, families and visitors year-round.
