This project delivered the construction of a 132-seat amateur theatre designed to professional standards, complete with multiple changerooms and robust structural steel tiered seating.
The layout incorporated concrete structural stairs connecting to the lower level, with a dedicated mechanical services room positioned on the third level to support building operations. Safety and performance were key priorities, with all walls, ceilings, and doors constructed to fire-rated standards and acoustic treatments applied to all external window openings. Our team also designed and constructed bespoke lighting bars for stage lighting and curtain systems in-house, ensuring seamless integration with the performance space.
High-end finishes were achieved through Supawood feature panelling, spotted gum hardwood trims and flooring, and gold anodised handrails throughout, creating a cohesive, premium-quality environment tailored for both performers and audiences.
